Minimum requirements

• A four- year relevant qualification (post graduate qualification in communications).
• Five years’ relevant experience at management level of which three years should be in a media environment.

Core functions

• Manage an array off communication strategies and promote the institutional image internationally.
• Strategic planning and research.
• Develop and manage annual plans and budgets for events management, alumni relations and channel development.
• Managing media liaison for TUT.
• Provide strategic advice to institutional units on communications management.
