InfraCo Asia Development Pte Ltd (“IAD”) is a donor-funded privately managed infrastructure development company which aims to stimulate greater private sector investment in infrastructure projects in South and Southeast Asia. IAD acts as principal to develop commercially viable infrastructure that contribute to poverty reduction in low-income countries. IAD is funded by the multi-donor Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG). (For more information, see www.infraco.asia and www.pidg.org.)

The Chair is expected to lead the Board and ensure it operates effectively, and engage regularly with management and PIDG. Board meetings are normally held in Singapore where IAD is based. Though not essential, there is strong preference for candidates residing in the region.
