SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT NOTICE

This specific Procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice for this project.
Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC) has secured financing from the Islamic Development Bank to finance the Water and Wastewater Treatment package and other contract packages of Banha Power Station – 750 MW Combined Cycle Power Project, which will consist of two 250 MW Combustion Turbine Generators, two Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and one 250 MW Steam Turbine Generator and Condenser.
Middle Delta Electricity Production Company (MDEPC), a wholly owned subsidiary of EEHC hereinafter called “Owner”, now invites sealed Tenders from international Manufactures to submit Tenders for the Water and Wastewater Treatment Package. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to design, fabricate, furnish, deliver to the Site, receive, unload, store, install, test, start-up, commission and maintain until issuance of Taking Over and Acceptance Certificate for the Water and Wastewater Treatment for Banha Power Station – 750 MW Combined Cycle Project.
The Tender Document for the above Package will be available at MDEPC’s offices on June 19, 2011. Tenderers may receive the Tender Document by submitting an application, in once original and two copies, accompanied by a payment receipt of US$1,500 from Banque du Caire, Gomhoreya Branch, Al Mansoura, Egypt (Account No.593/601/603) at the address shown below:

The Tender must be submitted on September 12 2011 in two Envelopes. Envelope A must contain all the required information, except the schedules of Quantities and Prices, and must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form equal to US$200,000.00 Envelope B must include the schedules of Quantities and Prices. Tenders shall be valid for a period of 180 days after Tender Opening.
