Deputy Director - Strategic Decision Suport

Position:
iJET is seeking a Deputy Director to support our Strategic Decision Support Division. The Deputy Director will ensure that the department functions at optimal levels. This includes oversight of the development and delivery of bespoke intelligence. The Deputy Director will assist with the project and resource management aspects of satisfying complex intelligence requests. The Deputy Director will work closely with other intelligence analysts with specific regional or subject matter knowledge, and will continually assess the quality and timeliness of the products.

Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage the product lifecycle for bespoke intelligence products:Gather requirements; establish a collection plan; select appropriate analytical methodology; Q&A and finalize product for delivery.
  • Manage a team of intelligence analysts and ensure workload is adequately balanced amongst departmental resources
  • Coordinate efforts with iJET’s Regional Managers, Watch Operations Intelligence Analysts, and other Subject Matter Experts (SME)
  • Occasional travel


Qualifications


  • Master’s Degree in International Affairs, Political Science, Journalism, or Intelligence Studies, required
  • 8 years experience in a related field required
  • Significant exposure to multinational geopolitical events
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience with advanced analytical techniques is highly desirable
  • Project management skills
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work with little supervision
  • Excellent written and communication skills; accurate typing skills
  • Foreign travel knowledge and experience required
  • Foreign language knowledge strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Intelligence Gathering and Analysis
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite; Knowledge of Google Earth and Maps
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
