Position title 1: Manager, Small & Medium Business Sales Manager ( SMB) 

Reporting to: Business Enterprise Director

Location: HQ, DSM

Job purpose:

In liaison with business enterprise, to assist in prioritizing of projects, ensures that projects align with the best technology that provides maximum return on investments and direct business enterprise strategy in support of the overall business. Also support in overall preparation of reports and plans for the Group while ensuring follow up of agreed targets in an effort to enhance smooth co-ordination of operations. To ensure that Manager and Director are provided with appropriate reports, analysis, knowledge, and meaningful information on a timely basis to make informed business decisions.

Key acountabilities:

  • Grow top line sales & bottom-line profitability for all products within the Business Market portfolio within the SME market
  • Achieve mutually agreed and aggressive sales targets for new SME Partners and existing in markets with existing network visibility, and create new national sales force using additional indirect sales force from the partners
  • Oversee successful execution at every stage of the sales process  Increase SME market share by expanding Visibility networks and fill gaps in both existing and new markets
  • Create and build scalable alternative indirect sales channels that support products sales within the SME Markets aligned with Business Markets strategy
  • Manage the launch, product life cycle, pricing, channel and promotional strategies for products in alignment with global objectives

  • Understand and appreciate market trends, competitors' movement and industry information so as to serve customers better
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction with decision makers.
  • Provide one-stop ICT experience to customers regarding all Airtel services. lead bids or RFPs to ensure proposals are submitted in order to win; ensure that all customers' pre-sales & post-sales enquiries and works orders, commercial documents, dealings with customers are promptly attended to, documented and kept
  • Provide sales leadership to the Partners & Channels Sales team by mentoring, motivating, encouraging, and delivering results; Responsible for building and growing the sales team; Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
Educational Qualifications & Technical Skills

  • Degree in Business, Finance or other relevant field (or equivalent).
  • Masters of Business Administration / IT is an added advantage
  • Certifications accreditation in relevant areas
  • Professional membership in related
Relevant Experience

  • 3 to 5 years experience in FMCG at managerial level
  • Sales management experience
Other requirements

  • Experienced in managing, developing and motivating a sales team.
  • Self-starter with experience and desire to acquire new business
  • Must be self driven, energetic, resourceful, creative, and possess strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to project a strong, positive image of him/herself and the Company.

Position title 1 : Manager, Provisioning Operations Manager

Reporting to : Customer Service Experience Manager

Location: HQ, DSM

Job purpose: 

Implement & manage strategy for Post paid, Prepaid and Airtel Money provisioning operations at the OPCO and Partners locations.
As head of Post paid Service Provisioning – New activations for mobility business Design a strategy & planning for ease of activation, ensuring highest level of customer satisfaction & provide common process experience to customer for new activation across the country.

Key accountabilities:

  • Post paid adjustment management
  • Initiate Prepaid Number Management System (NMS
  • Development of system with the help of IT to support comprehensive Post paid Business model and subscriber management.
  • Align all the activities of Post paid provisioning to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Innovate new customer friendly activation strategies through technology
  • Reviewing the operational KPIs of Partners/trade excellence.
  • Benchmark the internal processes with the Best practices
  • Identify opportunities for improvement
  • Suggest practices which would help the vertical to achieve desired business results
  • Set-up control-points and Triggers for Internal Control and Compliances
  • Track adherence to processes and business guidelines
  • Planning & project management for all projects in the vertical from on Post paid and prepaid Provisioning.
  • Coordinate with the different project leaders across functions
  • Set-up control-points and Triggers for Internal Control and Compliances
  • Track adherence to processes and business guidelines
  • Sharing daily MI on daily failures and mismatches across systems
  • Plan & implement a robust complaint management system at the Circle
  • Analyze customer complaints process wise and design action plans for process improvement and influence the respective process owner for change
  • Ensure 100% customer resolution to request raised by the customers and close loop the same within set SLA.
  • Work with other cross-functional teams for process changes and other initiatives for enhancing customer experience in the zone (for reduction in time to activate and error free provisioning).
Educational Qualifications & Technical Skills

Graduate / PG. Operations background with MBA is most desirable
Relevant Experience
7 yrs relevant working experience. Minimum 4 years in telecom/BPO must
