Knowledge Coordinator — Anti-Corruption Tools and Practices , Germany

Transparency International (TI) is the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption. Through more than 90 chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
In conjunction with its Strategy 2015, Transparency International (TI) has embarked upon a strategic knowledge exchange and learning programme, called the Anti-Corruption Solutions and Knowledge Programme, or ASK. The ASK programme builds upon Transparency International’s diversity of expertise on corruption across its global network. It complements TI’s well-established credentials in developing and promoting the measurement and diagnosis of corruption and extends it to a new frontier – that of connecting people, synthesising knowledge and accelerating learning about what works to stop corruption and to promote integrity, accountability and transparency in both the private and public sector.
The Knowledge Coordinator — Anti-Corruption Tools and Practices will work closely with colleagues within a small knowledge services team in Berlin, as well as with practice leaders from around the world. S/he will facilitate the scoping, development and dissemination of relevant tools and practices from across Transparency International and the broader global anti-corruption movement—in many cases through direct engagement with thematic knowledge networks. The Knowledge Coordinator will focus on distilling lessons learned from among practitioners and projects, ensuring that lessons and professional insights are synthesized and shared in action-ready formats. Building on TI’s GATEway Corruption Assessment Toolbox (http://gateway.transparency.org), the Knowledge Coordinator will analyse trends, identify knowledge gaps, and work with practice leaders to produce anti-corruption tools and solutions. S/he will actively explore linkages to the Anti-Corruption Research Network (http://corruptionresearchnetwork.org/) in order to promote collaboration between practitioners and researchers.
The Knowledge Coordinator will play a key role in Transparency International’s efforts to identify approaches that are making an impact, increase their visibility, and expand learning to promote adaptation of these approaches at greater scale. S/he will be responsible for synthesising and communicating recommended resources and insights via active blogging, webinars and other knowledge sharing mechanisms.
