Closing date:September 9th 2013
If you are interested in developing an understanding of how a major NGO conducts fundraising campaigning as well as gain some hands on experience here’s a great opportunity to do just that with ActionAid.
We have ambitious plans to triple our income by 2017 by thorough research and understanding of our donors (and prospective donors) and compelling communications about our programme, policy and research work. This is where your skills come in.
We will look to you to support activities designed to build relationships and one-to-one donor engagement. This will involve helping draft communications, organising mailings, updating information databases and supporting event activities as well as assisting with general admin tasks.
As well as being able to give us an idea of what key experiences you wish to take from volunteering with us you will be a good researcher who writes well and is comfortable meeting deadlines. Able to work on your own initiative, you will be highly organised, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and well developed MS Office skills.
That we expect you to support our aim of building a fair and just world where everyone can claim their rights goes without saying.
Meet our criteria and you can look forward to a fantastic experience that will be thoroughly rewarding and standout on your CV
