Job PurposeAs Manger Procurement and Supply Management you will manage all stages of establishing commercial agreements to support EY operations worldwide in the assigned area/s of service such as, crew hotel, crew transportation, limousines services, Etihad owned and contracted lounges, airport office leases, inflight entertainment and airport security from data collection and analysis to negotiation and implementation; to ensure all agreements comply with EY corporate standards
Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient, cost effective commercial service agreements to support EY operations worldwide in the assigned area/s of service such as crew hotel, catering, lounges, airport offices and security; manage all the processes involved from data collection and analysis to negotiation and implementation
  • Source, establish and build relationships and strategic partnerships with vendors, service providers and suppliers; conduct supplier benchmarking; investigate to ensure reliability and trustworthiness to protect EY service, safety & quality standards and corporate image
  • Collect and analyze data to support negotiations and/or re-negotiations of service agreements; gather market intelligence to be aware of current market rates, trends, prices, service levels, etc. and optimize the best review price to maximize cost savings
  • Liaise closely with appointed representative from end user department (e.g. with Premium Product Manager for limousines/lounge services; Head of Corporate Security for security services, etc.); visit locations or outstations to ensure full understanding and meeting of their current and evolving needs Sense check all aspects of contracts; review thoroughly to ensure that all areas are looked at and addressed to meet all EY requirements
  • Take active lead in the tender board process and negotiation in line with EY corporate governance policy
  • Manage agreement process from General Counsel through to financial sign off followed by dispatching of agreement to supplier within set time line process
  • Troubleshoot problems, implement solutions or recommends solutions to appropriate resources for problem resolution with agreement process
  • Manage contract files and initiate contract renewal to ensure that contracts are in place without a gap in the contract validity
Requirements
  • Degree level education in business, finance or supply chain management with acquired specialization in the relevant service area (e.g. security, cargo, etc.)
  • 6 to 8 years airline procurement management experience, of which at least 3 years in the procurement of products/services in the relevant service area and in a contract negotiation capacity; experience in multi-cultural work environments
  • Contract management experience
  • General operation knowledge in Crew Hotels, Airline Product services & Airport Security Financial Evaluation and/or Accounting knowledge
  • Knowledge of tender board process
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Experience of supplier quality assurance programs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language is an advantage
