Job Purpose To develop Sharepoint intranet websites and .NET applications for various internal departments based on their requirements. Responsibilities Development of robust and user-friendly share-point and .NET-based web applications. Design, develop and implement SharePoint solutions including web parts, timer jobs, custom controls and writing PowerShell scripts. Create prototypes and functional specifications for software projects. Determine new Web technologies to utilize, such as browsers, languages, and plug-ins, based on company’s needs. Conceptualize long-term needs of Web development, and plans and manages related projects. Make suggestions on creating Web-based technical standards for specific Web sites and the company as a whole. Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups. Able to integrate quickly into the team and work independently toward team goals. Develop cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions. Requirements University degree or equivalent qualification in the field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering is a minimum requirement Minimum 5 years of experience in .NET and share-point development including C# and ASP.NET development and experience with CAML/LINQ. Thorough knowledge of web related technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SOAP, Web Services, XML/XLST, WCF/Silverlight, JQuery and Ajax Experience in Oracle & MS SQL Server 2008 R2 including related technologies Entity Framework, SSRS and BI
