King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences

The King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia houses six colleges:
  • Medicine
  • Pharmacy
  • Dentistry
  • Public Health and Health Informatics
  • Applied Medical Science
  • Nursing
In addition to its main campus in Riyadh, two satellite campuses are also located in Jeddah and Al-Ahsa.
The King Saud bin Abdulaziz University is closely affiliated with the hospitals of the National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA), the most advanced medical complex in the region. This affiliation has enabled the University to expand its curricula and academic programs. It has also enabled access for the University and its students to the clinical and teaching sites located in the complex.
Open Faculty Positions – Curriculum Assessment and Evaluation Specialist:
The College of Pharmacy, established in 2011, is seeking applicants with:
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • Working knowledge of statistics
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical and or medical education and literature
  • An established understanding of assessment methods and pedagogy
Incumbents are expected to conduct scholarly activities including collaborative research and publications.
The College of Pharmacy provides an innovative curriculum designed through a unique collaborative partnership with the Tennessee University College of Pharmacy, and with the consultative support of the Medical School of South Carolina College of Pharmacy, the University of Illinois College of Pharmacy and the Saint Louis College of Pharmacy. The affiliated Pharmaceutical Care Department at NGHA Hospital and the pharmacy faculty practice has a long-term consultative agreement for assisting it in advancing its pharmaceutical and clinical practice. Residency program accreditation by ASHP is pending.
The College of Pharmacy is currently staffed with a well-recognized, American-educated and trained, faculty of diverse nationalities.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must possess a Masters or PhD in Education, or other field or discipline or equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in relevant fields.

The KSAU-HS offers an excellent salary and benefi ts package commensurate with education and experience. Salary and other benefi ts include tax-free earnings, free furnished housing, educational allowance of up to three eligible dependents enrolled in grades 1st – 12th, Sixty days of annual vacation leave, 3 holidays of 21 days, an annual airline ticket to faculty members and eligible dependents to and from the home/point of origin, an annual paid professional leave, free medical care and emergency dental care, and free access to the sports facilities on campus.
