Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD) aims to provide safe, efficient and cost competitive global well and project delivery, where cost competitive procurement will be an important contributing factor. Corporate wide procurement services will furthermore help drive down costs in the broader organisation. As Statoil’s technology centre, the business area aims to ensure commercially focused global technology development and implementation. In addition, the business area will provide line management with global expertise and global standards based on best practice. Moreover, the business area will drive the fast track initiative to move towards the industrialisation of small field development on the Norwegian continental shelf.
The procurement and supplier relations (PSR) is responsible for the Supply Chain Management (SCM) function ensuring safe and efficient supply of products and services to all our operations and development projects globally. SCM possesses comprehensive competence within all parts of supply chain process, from market analysis and procurement to transportation and logistics. The organization procures products and services for all of Statoil’s business areas.
The function consists of 1000 highly competent employees in more than 20 countries, with widespread expertise: engineers, economists, financial analysts, lawyers and other specialists, working on key challenges such as market analysis, demand forecasting, strategy development and contract negotiations in culturally diverse environments.
You will have a steep learning curve and you are expected to develop an overall understanding of procurement in Statoil and our business challenges. Your exact assignment and development plan will be based of your field of expertise, your interests and our business needs.

Job description

  • The graduate program for Statoil in Angola is reserved for Angolan citizens only and will consist of several rotations within the following areas:
  • Market analysis
  • Strategy development for supplier contracts
  • Establishment of contracts
  • Contract management
  • Supplier performance management
  • Improvement programs within procurement
  • The graduate program can be conducted both nationally and internationally and will most probably involve a period spent working in one of Statoil´s office in Norway. The graduate is required to work at the Statoil office in Angola after completing the graduate program.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree
  • Excellent results from relevant master level education (economical/technical/law or similar)
  • International experience is preferred (lived, studied, and/or worked abroad)
  • Excellent written and oral English and Portuguese language skills
  • Additional languages are an advantage
  • No more than one year of work experience
