Head of Transportation

Job Purpose	To develop and deliver a sustainable, efficient and safe Etihad Airways transportation strategy globally.
Responsibilities	Develop, plan and implement the Etihad Airways strategic transport plan, processes and polices supporting the business needs. Performance manage and monitor all service provider SLAs. Design, develop and manage sustainable transport related improvements to achieve delivery of best-practice transport product. Formulate and deliver against annual budgetary plans, seeking efficiencies. Review and recommend any technology interventions that will deliver efficiencies. Responsible for the development of H&S polices related to Etihad Transportation services and the adherence to, and development of, any regulatory or industry recognized best practices. Motivate, engage, train and develop staff to maintain an effective workforce capable of meeting its objectives and the expectations of the Etihad brand. Review and recommend organisational changes to optimise working practices.
Requirements	Qualification & Education: Bachelors degree in a Business field or equivalent experience is required. Experience: Minimum of 6 years related experience, to include managerial experience. Minimum 6 years experience in senior manager role focused on transportation strategy for a fleet of 1,000+ vehicles. Experience of planning transport strategy across global locations.
