World Intellectual Property Organization Jobs March 2014

The World Intellectual Property Organization is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for several vacancies.
The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), based in Geneva, Switzerland, is the global forum for intellectual property (IP) policy, services, information and cooperation. A self-funding, specialized agency of the United Nations, dedicated to making IP work for innovation and creativity, the agency’s role is to enable governments, businesses and individuals through its 186 member states to realize the potential of IP as a driver of innovation; which is believed to be, in every society, one of the most powerful forces for human progress.
For IP to work well, so that people everywhere can benefit from it, the international IP system needs to be efficient. It needs a set of rules, agreed internationally, that balance the interests of those who produce and those who consume the fruits of innovation and creativity. Meeting these needs is what drives the work at WIPO.
