Assistant Communications Manager, Programmes
(Job Code: LI-ACMP)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the project manager of events, such as WWF-HK’s flagship event – Earth Hour, including budget management, resources allocation, coordination with internal and external parties
  • Manage and coordinate the communications elements of a portfolio of conservation and education programmes, build up synergies and leverage communications strengths across these programmes
  • Work closely with Conservation and other programme staff to develop and implement communications strategies for the programmes
  • Develop and manage campaigns/events and employ other communication tools/channels to achieve the goals and objectives of the programmes
  • Work closely with the team to make each campaign/programme has enough media coverage and public awareness in order to maximize the effectiveness of such

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience with event management experience preferable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner to a wide variety of audiences across diverse channels
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver excellent results under high pressure
  • Able to view issues from a macro or global perspective but have a down-to-earth mindset
  • Self-initiative, detailed-minded with excellent analytical skills
  • Good organizational and project management skills
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
