Technical Administrator
The role is centrally based as part of ISC Malt Distilling at Glendullan Engineering Centre Dufftown. Diageo Global Supply Scotland has the responsibility for production of Malt Whisky, associated barley requirements, co-products and warehousing operations at 32 sites located throughout Scotland
The use of appropriate and effective communications is fundamental to this role as a result of the wide geographical spread and remoteness of sites.
Essential - Minimum of basic passes in English, arithmetic and secretarial based subjects.
Full UK clean driving licence.
Desirable - Externally recognised qualification in business administration, or equivalent.
Experience of working in an office environment meeting the demands of a high quality technical support (or equivalent) department characterised by a ruthless focus on continuous improvement.
Experience in developing and working in a partnership / service orientated environment.
PC knowledge - SAP PM, Bespoke databases, Microsoft Office Packages
Technical Administrator

- Stretching service, cost and quality requirements demand an open, flexible, and communicative style to support the technical teams.
- To provide, as part of the technical support team, proactive, high quality administrative support within the recurring orders department.
- Working as part of a focused site management team, ensuring statutory regulations and Diageo policies are complied with.
- Courteous and effective communication of all enquiries and communications from internal and external suppliers, customers and statutory bodies.
- Co-ordinate the review of recurring orders including, scope of works, compliance, cost, and external contractors/suppliers.
- Attends meetings, records and distributes minutes, as required.
- Support the department’s SAP systems(parked & blocked invoices)
- Manage the department’s compliance register to ensure the department is compliant with internal and external legislation.
- General Administration and Secretarial requirement’s.
- The maintenance of appropriate levels of confidentiality.
