Inside Sales Representative m/w

Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) is part of the Sandvik Group, one of the largest Swedish publicly listed companies. SMT is a world-leading manufacturer and distributor of advanced stainless steel products. Working from the Dutch office of Sandvik Benelux B.V. in Schiedam, an enthusiastic team of Sandvik Materials Technology looks after the sales, inventory and distribution of stainless steel tubes, bar, hollow bar, pipes, fittings and flanges.

YOUR ROLE

The biggest challenge of this job is to find the perfect balance between selling price and delivery terms.

The prices of the products our customers need are constantly fluctuating. This is caused by the changing stock exchange values of the raw materials the products are built from.

After an induction period where you will familiarise yourself with our products, you will be responsible for a predefined region. You will maintain the relationship with SMT customers, which are large industrial concerns, contractors and manufacturing plants.

You will work closely with the customer and in close collaboration with your colleagues within inside sales department. You will report directly to the Team leader.

YOUR PROFILE

You are a smart trader with sharp negotiation skills and you like to find creative, autonomous solutions for the challenges this job offers.

We are looking for a new colleague with hands-on mentality, great team-

spirit and a strong personality.

You have several years of experience in a similar Business to Business sales position and you have a commercial degree, or equivalent experience. Preferably you have a passion for technology.

You are fluent in French (mother tongue) and you must be able to demonstrate written and verbal skills in both Dutch and English.
