Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator

Asia Catalyst seeks a full time Monitoring and Evaluation(M&E) Coordinator to work in our Beijing office.We seek self-starters with a passion for social justice and rule of law who will be an active part of the organization.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS
  • Minimum 4 years work experience in Monitoring and Evaluation;
  • Experience in basic M&E concepts including indicator development, indicator protocols, tool development, reporting systems strengthening, and data quality assessments;
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, aggregation, analysis, and report writing;
  • Experience in conducting field research; sound experience in participatory research methodologies;
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure while juggling multiple tasks simultaneously is required;
  • Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision and work independently as well as function as a member of a team;
  • Ability to work with all programs, all staff and across time zones;
  • Strong written and spoken English (essential); Strong written and spoken Mandarin (desired).

Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project specific and organizational wide M&E frameworks;
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements for M&E on projects, including implementation of, and reporting on, M&E projects;
  • Design and implement surveys and other data collection to gather quantitative and qualitative information from partners, beneficiaries and other stakeholders (including field trips as and when necessary);
  • Oversee the collection, analysis, use and dissemination of monitoring data
  • Work with development and communications to translate monitoring data into materials for outreach, external communications, fundraising and advocacy;
  • Contribute to the development of concept notes, proposals and program design to ensure M&E is mainstreamed into all activities; formulate indicators and logic frameworks;
  • Provide M&E technical support for partners based on their needs and work with program staff to develop M&E training materials;
  • Participate in staff and volunteer meetings;
  • Support Program Directors and Executive Director in additional tasks as needed.
