Purpose of the Assignment
To guide UNICEF and partners in the development of regional parenting intervention packages for adolescents and their families, the UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia is currently undertaking a regional study on parenting programmes for parents of adolescents. As part of this regional study, the UNICEF Country Office in Romania is hiring four national researchers (Team Leader, Field researcher and two Junior Researchers) to collect strategic information at country level, on the basis of the results of the regional parenting study. The four national researchers will work under the supervision of the UNICEF focal point in Romania in close collaboration with the team leader of the regional study.

Qualifications of Successful Candidate
Competencies of successful candidate
Excellent awareness of, and sensitivity to, gender considerations, power dynamics, (dis)ability, poverty, substance abuse, and other factors that affect parenting dynamics, parent-child relations, and parenting practices.
Location of work
The consultancy is remote – based, with in-country travel as agreed with the supervisor. The consultants should provide their own computers and recording tools.
