Director, Mobile Computing Marketing

Position
Summary


Manages mobile computing team providing strategic direction and guidance around notebook roadmap and go-to-market plans. Drives product focus in different B2B verticals as well as B2C retail growth. Explores opportunities to expand product category into emerging technologies and new segments.



Common Essential
Duties & Resp.


1. Product Roadmap – working with global business partners, develop US product roadmap and strategy meeting market demands and customer segment requirements.
2. Market Segmentation – clearly defining US market segments and definitions between B2C and B2B categories with strategies for each category
3. Price Strategy – creating price strategy and maps with focusing on profitability and upsell strategies.
4. Brand/Product Positioning – developing premium brand and product positioning strategies incorporating supporting marketing programs and pricing strategies,
5. Competitive Analysis – conduct routine market and competitive intelligence using data to influence product roadmap and new technology.
6. Revenue/Profit Growth – focus on growing business segment with a focus on volume, revenue and profitability.
7. Budget Management – manage team budget from general expenses to marketing programs
8. Team Leadership – Develop mobile computing team members and grow team according to business growth to maximize team ROI.

Product marketing experience
Experience managing people
Global experience/working with diverse groups and cultures
MBA preferred in Marketing or related experience/education
10 years Product Marketing experience
