Executive Personal Assistant

This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced assistant to work in the business and NGO sectors. The position will serve as the right hand to both a former UN Ambassador and the Chairman of an international company.

Responsibilities and Required Skills Include:

  • Interpersonal Communication: Serves as an intermediary, with delegated authority to relay instructions and information and follow commitments through to completion. Maintains and organizes extensive contacts system.
  • Written Communication: Independently researches, develops and drafts letters, memos, or reports. Takes dictation in person or over the phone.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve problems independently. Researches and makes recommendations for more complex issues.
  • Planning and Organizing: Maintains calendar and schedules appointments. Locates and assembles information for various reports, briefings, and conferences. Makes travel arrangements.
  • Management: Coordinates maintenance of residences. Communicates tasks to other household employees and contractors.
  • Records Administration: Establishes and maintains paper and electronic files and records – including, but not limited to, household bills, financial transfers, charitable giving, programmatic materials, personal files, art collection, medical claims, etc.
  • Programmatic Knowledge: Demonstrates interest in human rights and international development. Researches and makes action agendas for social causes.

The ideal candidate has an upbeat and “sunshine” attitude. He/she must be a self-starter, who enjoys working in a home office as a single employee. The candidate must be highly organized and know how to prioritize tasks. He/she must be comfortable with flexibility, possess superior judgment with confidential matters, and know how to multi-task and switch gears quickly.

Salary depends on experience and will be highly competitive for the right individual. Immediate start date preferred.


Qualifications


Professional Requirements include:

- 3-5 years professional experience

- Knowledge of MS Office & Mac applications

- Long term commitment

- Flexibility in hours – prefer days to begin 10-11am
