The intern will primarily be participating in mobile application development in order to support a team of engineers in the development of applications and services for next generation Nokia devices. With Nokia's nearly 30% reach of the world's mobile phone market, this is a great opportunity for the right individual to say "I built that!" to something that will reach millions of people who will use it every day.

Primary Tasks:

· Windows application development

· Agile programming and testing

· Participate in design and architecture discussion

· Final integration and testing

Qualifications

Knowledge of C, C++, C#, Silverlight, Java, and Java Script programming experience.
Object oriented experience.
MFC, Win32, COM, HTML 5 experience preferred.
Embedded system programming & Windows application development experience preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

· The ability to write clear, concise, well-documented code that adheres to commercial standards.

· A good appreciation of coding standards, design best practices and a keen desire to apply them.

· Analytical thinking, good decision making skills.

· Comfortable taking responsibility and solving complex problems.

· The ability to analyze and debug existing code, to address defects in both functionality and performance.

· The ability to deliver to deadlines and to work under pressure when necessary, both individually and as part of a team.

· The ability to communicate effectively both inside and outside of the technical team.

· Key individual contributor.

· Experience with any test automation tools would be an advantage.

· Experience of Agile Software Development / XP practices (TDD, Pair Programming, CI).
