Who We Are
The Center for Strategy & Management is a center of excellence for Management training. Our trainers have extensive experience in areas of Strategic Management and Corporate Governance gathered over 50 years combined international experience with global firms. Course delivered in partnership with Strategic Leadership Center; DIT Number; DIT/TRN/516.
The Lead trainer is Alex Sapala. Alex is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University in the UK and a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the ACCA. He achieved a Bronze Medal for 3rd place worldwide in his final ACCA exams, becoming the first African in the history of ACCA exams to win a medal. He has worked on a variety of projects with organisations ranging from small enterprises, universities, charities, banks, local government, manufacturing to FTSE 100 companies.
He has worked with Deloitte & Touche consulting for clients like Southbank University, Save the Children, A C O R D, Fossil, HSBC and Morgan Sindall. Since leaving Deloitte Alex has worked within financial markets both in trading finance and operational risk including 3 ½ years in Global Banking and Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland Group and a top-tier London-based US investment bank, JP Morgan Chase.
He will be assisted by Henry Kimathi, who holds an MBA in Finance and has worked with several large firms in Kenya including Airtell, Equity Bank and Essar Group.
