Qualification:
This consultancy requires an individual with strong urban planning and municipal advocacy experience, strong understanding of private sector companies engaged in urban development, creativity and ability to multi-task, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Experience working within a city and planning for social sector urban development is a significant advantage.
Master’s degree required. PhD preferred. Preferred degree in urban planning.
At least 7 years relevant experience working on advocacy with municipal governments;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; article-writing and media experience preferred;
Experience working within a highly results-oriented non-profit, municipality and/or UN agency required;
Fluency in English;
Ability to work in a team and in a diverse work environment.
