Development and Production North America (DPNA) aims to develop a material and profitable position in North America, including deepwater Gulf of Mexico, unconventional gas and oil sands. In doing this, we will establish capability centres for deepwater and unconventional gas operations as well as carbon efficient oil sands extraction. This will ensure our further development in the area.

Job description

  • Primary focus of analyzing daily and weekly production data to ensure proper business reasons for variations
  • Data Collection
  • Monitor receipt of daily production reports on all producing properties electronically.
  • Ensure data correctly translated into Statoil volumes reporting system (Energy Components)
  • Production Reporting (Internal)
  • Daily Production Reporting – detail and summary – Details daily gross (mcf) and equity (boe) volumes, by division and well.
  • Weekly Production Report – Reports of weekly equity volumes in sm3 and boe. Interface with F & C.
  • Weekly Production Graphs
  • Monthly (Year End) Production Report (1st of the month)
  • Weekly MIS Reporting - Report weekly equity volumes in the MIS system, by field. Use the sm3 volumes generated in the Official Weekly Volumes
  • Business Unit Reporting - The business unit volumes are included in all of the regular reporting and are also entered into MIS.
  • General Reporting - Create various reports as needed. Provide support to Petec, Accounting, Finance/Control, Business Development, Management, Business Units, etc., as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education High School diploma
  • Five years relevent experience
  • Experience in Finance or Accounting for Oil and Gas activities and successful efforts method of accounting required
  • Strong Systems aptitude required
  • SAP experience required
  • Onshore accounting experience a plus
