Salary: Grade 10 - £55,374 to £57,032 (with possible progression to £88,768)
Open ended permanent contract

This is an exciting opportunity within the School of Health Sciences for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Professor/Director to provide a strategic lead to a well established Institute which consists of a multi-disciplinary team addressing health challenges in areas of conflict, poverty and vulnerability throughout the world.  You will be expected to help shape and develop a dynamic research programme with particular strengths in the areas of health systems and policy and psychosocial wellbeing.  

You will have a strong and proven record of leadership and management in Higher Education and International Development including teaching in international settings with international students.  Substantial experience of supervision at Doctoral and Masters level as well as a publication record which meets the quantity and quality thresholds for Research Excellence Framework submissions are also required.
