IBF International Consulting (www.ibf.be) is a European development consultancy founded in Brussels in 1977 that is working on co-operation projects financed by international institutions like the European Commission and the World Bank.

Our main fields of expertise are economic development, institutional support, education and social development. IBF has managed projects in more than 150 countries worldwide. IBF employs 40 permanent staff in Brussels and has about 250 experts in the field.

IBF launched in 2012 the International Consulting Alliance (ICA) (www.icaworld.net), a network of independent like-minded organisations dedicated to providing top quality development consultancy services in emerging economies. The Alliance counts today 42 members: 25 local members and 17 technical members.

IBF is looking at recruiting a Local Network Manager to join its Brussels based headquarters.

Job description:

• Promote ICA towards new potential local members with the aim to have 2-3 new local members joining per month;
• Follow-up existing members to assist them in maximizing their use of the intranet;
• Train local members;
• Liaise with the Technical Network Manager to promote connections between local and technical members;
• Continuously seek to improve the platform;
• Assist in organizing the annual ICA events.

Profile:

• At least 2 years of experience in consultancy or development aid projects;
• Knowledge of EC or funding agencies procedures;
• Excellent communication and marketing skills;
• Excellent planning and organization skills;
• Being a "doer", someone who makes things happen, who realizes things;
• English; French & Spanish would be strong assets.
