The Centre has a need to further expand its Communications and Communications Electronic Warfare activities with the creation of a new lecturing post.
This post will be a classic lecturing post, requiring the successful candidate to conduct both high quality research and teaching.  The research effort will involve attracting research income and publishing the results of this research in a high impact manner.  The teaching focus will be to help the centre deliver its existing and significant lecturing load to post-graduate and short courses.
We require an engineer or scientist, educated to an appropriate post-graduate level, to support and complement the above mentioned teaching and research activities particularly in the Communications and Communications Electronic Warfare fields. Experience of military technologies would be highly advantageous although not essential.
The successful candidate will have to plan their own time and work structure as required to achieve the goals they have been set by the centre. They will have to be proactive in suggesting work and proposing new avenues.
The successful candidate will have to be an effective communicator and lecturing experience at post-graduate level would be advantageous.
