Human Resource Advisor

Oxfam Novib is looking for a driven HR Partner in Business who supports our

managers and staff on a wide variety of HR subjects.

Due to the resignation of one of our colleagues, the Human Resource department is looking for a

HR Advisor

32 hours per week

Contract period: one year

The Hague

The main objective is to advise line managers and staff on the application, implementation and progress of the different HR policies and ways of working.

The HR Advisor will have a strong focus on the (continual) development of HR policies, especially in the field of health & safety, performance appraisals, collective labour agreements and change management.

Main tasks

• You advise and support the middle management in the implementation of HR policy and in organisational and individual HR issues.
• You contribute to the development and implementation of change processes from the HR perspective.
• You initiate, develop and implement, in consultation with the Manager HR, new HR tools and policy for the assigned fields of expertise.
• You arrange recruitment and selection procedures for the assigned departments.
• You advise and mediate in organisational, departmental or personnel problems, in the social and labour rights fields, and in individual career development.
• Arranging the accurate processing of all administration in co-operation with the HR administration and pay roll department.

You have

• A Bachelor or University degree in Human Resources.
• A minimum of four years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international organisation.
• Practical experience in supporting change processes.
• Ability to work well with a personnel information system (preferably SAP/hr).
• Experience with expat policy and field placements is recommended.
• Knowledge and experience in the field of Collective Agreements on Labour Conditions and labour law matters.
• An excellent command of the English and Dutch language, both in speaking and in writing.
• The ability to multi task and ability to adapt in a changing work environment
• A high level of flexibility and you are a true teamplayer

Salary indication

A salary of maximum EU 4,011 gross per month on the basis of a 36-hour working week.
