Job Purpose
This newly created role is part of broad team of statisticians, data scientists, market researchers, and CRM strategists who will develop both a deeper understanding of the Global Loyalty Company's (GLC) customers as well as recommend and drive action against these insights across all customer interaction touch points to generate incremental growth, engagement, and revenue.

 
The Lead Business Process Analyst will analyse and document business cases, business processes and new system requirements for assigned business areas, working closely with the business to define requirements and develop business cases for corporate/departmental projects.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate operational requirements, problems and opportunities - Capturing and documenting business needs in conjunction with internal and external stakeholders
  • Seek effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components which provide tangible business benefits.
  • Assist in the analysis of stakeholder objectives and business priorities
  • Facilitate scoping and business priority-setting for change initiatives of medium size and complexity
  • Contribute to selection of the most appropriate means of representing business requirements in the context of a specific change initiative, ensuring traceability back to source
  • Discover and analyse requirements for fitness for purpose as well as adherence to business objectives and consistency, challenging positively as appropriate
  • Facilitate creation of initial and full business case assessments for programme and projects in assigned business area ensuring that investment plan is sound and justified
  • Track benefits accrual and provide feedback to Business Sponsors on achievement of expected benefits
  • Define business and user requirements for proposed solution.
  • Highlight areas of conflict, coordinate and manage business change
  • Analyse and document business process models (as is and to be) using UML modelling techniques and tools.
  • In partnership with the Data Scientists support preparation of test cases, test scripts and conduct testing as well as development and delivery of training to users
  • Prepare high-level costing (one-time and on-going) by obtaining estimates and information from Etihad departments and external suppliers (RFIs)
  • Support the business through the implementation process and contribute the clarity of technical messages to the business.
  • Analyse and document business requirements for new IT systems and services, prioritising according to business importance
  • Assist business areas in identifying potential IT opportunities exploiting use of new technologies
Requirements
  • Successfully complete the Etihad online English and Analytical Assessment
  • Practitioner level certification in UML methods and tools (Systems Modelling techniques)
  • 8-10 years business process analysis experience including an assignment outside core role,
  • Uses functionally specific knowledge.
  • Key contributor and recognised specialist in your field
  • Experience in gap analysis, process modelling and business case development
  • 4 years international multi-domain business knowledge.
  • Experience in operating at a senior management level and leading analysis work of major business change.
  • Evidence at leading change activities and high level stakeholder management
  • Certification of PRINCE 2 would be an added advantage.
