PRODUCT SPECIALIST

Towers Watson is looking for a Product Specialist.
THE ROLE
As Product Specialist and a member of the data processing department, you are a key player in the execution of market remuneration studies. Your main responsibilities are:
  • Support the operational and commercial success of TWDS surveys and reports in EMEA throughout the product life cycle.
  • Key operational tasks:
    • Regularly coordinate and communicate with data centres around the world throughout the report production process.
    • Ensure the data integrity and timeliness of reports through the efficient usage of data management tools and systems and the application of established analytical and quality processes.
    • Work directly with participating clients to resolve data queries, ensure participant understanding of survey content and methodology; resolves client queries relating to TWDS reports in a timely manner
    • May act as an adhoc project resource to Product Leaders and/or Consultants
    • Work to acquire knowledge or specific EMEA markets and/or industry sectors which can be applied to further benefit market analysis and clients.
  • Key commercial tasks:
    • Regularly coordinate with Product Leaders, Account Managers, Consultants and Customer Services to ensure client satisfaction and engagement from pre-sales through post-sales
    • Secure report orders from existing participants on a need basis
    • Support Product Leaders, Account Managers, Consultants and Customer Services in the sales process as an analytical resource
    • Proactively raise client awareness of products and services opportunistically when in contact with them
    • Serve as a resource in the preparation  of meetings, presentations and other client-facing events

THE REQUIREMENTS
  • A university graduate; prior exposure to working with data and figures is a clear asset
  • Prior work experience is not required but past experience with statistics, data analysis, HR and/or sales would be an asset
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of another EMEA language(s) is an asset OR Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French and English
  • Computer literate with a very knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills; accuracy and attention to detail
  • Dynamic and proactive self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team while following established guidelines and systems
  • Deadline-oriented with good organizational skills
  • Effective communicator
  • Pragmatic, creative, flexible and discrete
  • Stress resistant with a good  sense of humour
