With so many world-leading academics under one roof, SOAS has a lot to say about the issues that matter most in the 21st century. The Development and Alumni Relations team is working to deliver innovative projects to engage the global SOAS alumni network, and to represent and enhance SOAS’ international and domestic brand as a leading academic institution.
SOAS is approaching its first centenary celebrations and we are looking for three dynamic and motivated Alumni Relations Officers to help us achieve success in enhancing alumni engagement, both with SOAS’ UK and international alumni networks. The post holders will be expected to sustain strong relationships with alumni; increase the level of alumni participation in SOAS’ academic and research activities; work with current students to develop foundations for future engagement as alumni; and improve and facilitate communication between alumni and their alma mater. These challenging and varied roles would suit those with excellent communication skills, highly developed organisational abilities and who are highly self-motivated and creative in their approach. The successful candidates will have proven abilities in customer relationship management, and in addition, experience of working in alumni relations, external relations or a communications environment.
