Internship position in the European Economic Governance Cluster
Internship position available for six months with starting date anytime between 2 December and 6 January. Please send applications by 17 November 2013.
The IES European Economic Governance cluster is looking for an intern to assist in the research and practical tasks of the clusters. The cluster works on issues in political science and several fields of law; including trade, competition, investments and IPR’s. Recently, the work of the cluster has been related to current development in both the energy and the IT sector. For more about the institute please visitwww.ies.be.
The IES European Economic Governance cluster is looking for an intern to assist in the research and practical tasks of the clusters. The cluster works on issues in political science and several fields of law; including trade, competition, investments and IPR’s. The intern’s tasks will include (among others):
• Research assistance on cross-over topics of the two clusters, namely on “value balancing” of economic and environmental objectives in law and policy.
• Assistance with the organisation of events of the two clusters, especially related to the theme of balancing economic and environmental values (such as the policy forum; workshops).
• Assistance with preparation of texts (academic texts, policy briefs, other).
• Support in administrative tasks.

• Proven research experience required
• Excellent level of English
