Jr. Sports Marketing Manager Outdoor TNF

GENERAL SUMMARY

• Manage the EMEA Global Athlete Team within the given budgets, allocating appropriate resources and controlling costs.
• Efficiently plan Team product allocations and distribution per season.
• Organise Team Tours and attendance at Events, and arrange travel and accommodation.
• Timely provide PR and Online Teams with updated information about athletes and their seasonal plans.
• Execute annual appraisal of each EU Global Athlete. The annual appraisal will be the starting point for the development plan of each athlete in terms of language skills, presentation skills etc.
• Liaise with the TNF counterpart in USA on a monthly basis.
• Support the local offices with their local athlete programs by providing guidelines, assistance and tools. Involve and engage the local offices to actively scout potential new athletes within their local teams in line with the global marketing objectives.
• Work with the EU Global Athletes on their annual expedition program submissions.
• Ensure correct product supply for each athlete expedition. Collaborate and brief with the brand marketing team to ensure the correct collection of assets (pictures and movies).

Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position.

• Education:     University Degree

• Experience:   3-4 year in the same position

• Leadership:   good project leadership skills

• Language skills: Fluent English, written and oral. The knowledge of any other European language would be a plus.

• Other skills:   Computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Windows XP Standard package

Public speaking abilities

• Recommended: willingness to travel extensively whenever needed (weekends included) both in the EMEA area (Europe, Middle East, Africa), the USA and to any other destination needed.

• Other: Strong Experience in one of the brand key target outdoor activities (climbing and/or bouldering) is essential
