Payable Accountant Team Leader , ESA - European Space Agency

The European Space Agency (ESA) is seeking a Payable Accountant Team Leader (m/f) to be based at ESTEC, Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

Key responsibilities include:

  • contributing to objectives-setting and yearly assessment for the staff in the assigned team;
  • contributing to monthly and yearly closure of ESA accounts payable;
  • contributing to the verification of contracts/purchase orders;
  • analysing, validating and approving all Agency payments to suppliers.
Applicants for this post should have a Master's degree or equivalent professional qualifications in a financial discipline and substantial experience of financial accounting, preferably in an international organisation. Very good knowledge of SAP is required. He/she will be highly numerate, possess a strong accountancy background, have excellent analytical, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
