The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the centrepiece of the European Union’s strategy for aviation safety. Based in Cologne, Germany, the Agency has been given specific regulatory and executive tasks to promote and maintain the highest common standards of safety and environmental protection in civil aviation.

The Agency is currently seeking applications for the position of:
Head of Information Services Department
(Ref. EASA/AD/2011/038) (F/M)
(Temporary Agent AD 10)

Reporting to the Agency’s Business Services Director, you will manage and develop the Information Services Department. This will involve defining strategy and providing clear leadership of teams and budgets, with particular emphasis on aligning resources to broader business priorities. To be equal to the challenge, you should possess a degree in Information Systems, Economics or a related field, plus extensive professional experience in Information Services, including exposure to senior management roles. This will have given you expert understanding of strategic IS planning and execution, systems design and development and utilising ERPs (preferably SAP), and you will be ready for real impact from day one.
