The Head of Fundraising is a senior role in helping Conciliation Resources to grow the scale and impact of our work. S/he will lead a small and high-performing team at a critical time of targeted growth. The Head of Fundraising offers leadership and overall coordination and management of both our strategies and their implementation, including plans for raising both restricted and unrestricted income. The role currently concentrates on governmental donors as well as other grant giving bodies in the UK and elsewhere as well as the EU. Conciliation Resources is a grantee under the Programme Partnership Arrangement with DFID who is a key supporter of our work.
 
S/he, by working with the Fundraising Coordinator, and colleagues with fundraising responsibilities across Conciliation Resources ensures that challenging fundraising targets are met, and that we understand our donors and their priorities. S/he will provide strong stewardship of these strategic relationships, and bring new donors on board. 
 
Candidates should have significant senior fundraising experience within the charity sector and a track record of delivering successful fundraising proposals and relationships, including obtaining EU funds and governmental grants. They should have knowledge of fundraising best practice and of donors that support work in our sector, programme design, monitoring, evaluation and reporting and of writing, and using effectively, logframes. They should also have tenacity in seeking results and a high level of negotiation skills.
