Senior Engineer - Gas Processing at Gas Technology Institute
Gas Technology Institute (GTI), a leading research and development and training organization serving energy markets, has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Engineer to serve both as a Principal Investigator and project manager on major, complex assignments while attracting significant work to GTI. This work will focus on gas separation and gas processing technologies and include carrying our field tests of developmental gas processing technologies including sulfur removal and natural gas liquids recovery.
Position Requirements
We require a B.S. in engineering with 10+ years experience or an M.S. or Ph.D. with 7 years experience. The qualified candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the natural gas value chain from production through delivery into the interstate pipeline system, as well as working knowledge of all gas separations unit operations for natural gas and syngases. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proposal/report writing skill is a must. Process simulation using Aspen® programs and other process simulators is needed. Business development experience is desirable.
