WWFUS- Manager, Campaigns

World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the world’s leading conservation organization, seeks a Manager for Campaigns. Under the supervision of the Director, the Campaigns Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of WWF conservation campaigns and helping foster a campaigning culture across WWF-US to increase our conservation impact.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

1.Works with Director-Campaigns, to guide the design and development of WWF-US conservation campaign strategies, including work plans

2.Liaises with and provides guidance for the core teams leading various conservation campaigns

3.Regularly report on progress of conservation campaigns

4.Undertake other tasks as determined by the Director- Campaigns

 
Minimum Requirements: all of the following requirements must be met

1.Bachelor’s degree required in a related field

2.At least five years proven experience implementing advocacy campaigns

3.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of audiences

4.Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate complex issues in a clear manner to a wide variety of audiences

5.Expertise in campaigning techniques, policies, strategies, target audience analysis, structure and impact

6.Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and in building consensus, optimism and confidence in the face of challenges and pressure

7.Knowledge of environmental issues and the politics influencing public and private institutions both nationally and internationally to understand how they interact and influence each other, and the public

8.Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, supported by good computer and online skills

 
Preferred skills & experience:

•Although a Bachelor’s degree is required, a Master’s is preferred

•Knowledge of international conservation issues preferred
