Job Purpose
Successful candidate will be responsible to generate maximum profitable revenues and passenger volumes for Etihad Airways through directing and focusing the corporate sales team to an agreed plan and activity. Establish presence of the airline as a major quality brand in the market.
Responsibilities
  • Quickly build & maintain profitable sales & market share for Etihad.
  • Secure business from key corporate segments, including major companies, SME’s, Tvl Mgt Companies, and Chambers, online & other relevant
  • Lead & develop a professional, highly effective, & motivated sales team sectors
  • Drive the successful implementation of corporate initiatives, including GRP
  • Develop and implement systems to make the sales force effective.
  • Ensure sales activity is within cost of sale targets
  • Ensure Etihad anticipates and/or responds to market & competitor trends, issues, threats so as to win more sales or to avoid or minimize any adverse impact on sales
Requirements
Educated to degree level or equivalent. Business qualifications an advantage. 8 years sales experience, of which 4 should have been spent at a senior level, within an airline or multinational travel company.
Training & Knowledge:
  • Training in account management, sales & negotiation skills, with the ability to coach, train and guide sales executives on best method.
  • Possess leadership skills, positive, energetic, dynamic, and creative.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to short lead times.
  • A self-starter with strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good analytical skills to make positive use of broad range of data and information.
  • Good PC skills include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, revenue tracking systems
