This role has been established as a result of UCBS’ sustained growth and development, and we are now seeking a high performing academic who is capable of providing inspirational, innovative and enterprising leadership, with the ability to take clear responsibility for promoting the quality of research, education and enterprise within the School.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your Department achieves the highest academic standards, plays a major role in developing relationships with external national and international organisations, and supports the achievement of the School and University’s vision and overall objectives.

You will have a PhD, a postgraduate qualification and hold membership of a relevant professional body, along with a proven track record of leadership and management capabilities combined with experience of managing within a Higher Education setting.

Where appropriate, a professorial title will be available for suitably qualified candidates.
