Job Purpose Responsible for handling and escorting precious cargo consignments and ensuring the integrity of all consignments at all stages of the collection, processing, distribution and delivery functions. Responsibilities Escorting consignments to and from aircraft Unloading and breaking out consignments into individual client (consignee) shipments Checking integrity of all consignments; scanning or manually recording AWB, consignee and delivery address data Recording and reporting any discrepancies Sorting and allocation of individual consignments to delivery route or client collection Recording and reporting a consignment balance every shift Loading and unloading armoured road vehicles Armoured vehicle driving and escort duties Delivering precious cargo consignments to and collecting precious cargo consignments from client premises On occasion performing teller duties, dealing directly with clients presenting or collecting consignments directly to/from the client reception area of the ACM secure unit Operating security monitoring systems Requirements Must satisfy UAE immigration requirements Must have a valid UAE driving license, or be in a position to obtain one Must hold relevant licences as required by PSBD to perform cash-in-transit and/or security officer roles Must successfully pass a criminal background check, which is compliant with ACM internal requirements, the requirements of UAE laws and PSBD regulations. Must successfully pass a medical examination including a drug and substance abuse test
