Senior Socio-Economic Researcher in Employment Jakarta, Indonesia – Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid funded Poverty Reduction Support Facility (PRSF) PRSF is a joint facility between Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia. GRM International is the Managing Contractor contracted by Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade–Australian Aid to manage the implementation of PRSF. We are currently seeking a Senior Socio-Economic Researcher in Employment to lead the designing, monitoring and implementation of research and evidence collection in the areas of Employment, whenever relevant, in close cooperation with other Clusters within TNP2K (in particular Cluster 1 and MONEV), BAPPENAS and other Ministries involved, international organizations such as the World Bank and ILO, NGOs, and Consultants/Consulting Firms/Research Institutes. Essential Criteria: Graduate degree in Development Studies, Economics, Social Welfare, or other relevant fields. Minimum 7 years of experience in development sector, particularly in employment sector in Indonesia. Experience in working with national-level government organisations in Indonesia as well as sound knowledge on Indonesian socio-political context, particularly its government structure and national priorities Familiarity with youth employment issues and its research and/or policy reform aspects in Indonesia Experience with research and/or project activities relevant to Second Chance Education and Reduction of early drop-outs, skills matching and school-to-work transition, and Youth and/or SME entrepreneurship in urban and rural areas Experience in working with international organisations Experience in monitoring and evaluation complex development programmes involving multi-stakeholders Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesian nationals are encouraged to apply.
