Description

 

The consultant/s shall be requested to perform various tasks related to the projects, products, applications and services developed in the ICT Development section. The tasks will include:

• Implement and maintain new and existing systems developed by the section;
• Maintain the code base and fix bugs as reported in Team Foundation Server;
• Provide third-level support to the ICT Infrastructure section;
• Contribute to the planning and execution of test activities to ensure an acceptable quality;
• Report to the assigned Group Leader in the Development section.

Qualifications

• University degree with minimum 4 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 6 years of experience in IT;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in business intelligence systems design and implementation after completion of studies;
• Experience with agile software development (for instance, Scrum) or other iterative development processes (for instance, RUP);
• Excellent knowledge and experience of data warehouse modelling and implementation and MS SQL Server Integration Services;
• Excellent knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server 2008R2 (or higher) and T-SQL (including tuning T-SQL queries to improve the database performance);
• Experience with MS SQL Server Analysis Services and MDX development;
• Motivation and communication;

Advantageous criteria: 

• Experience with automatic map generation (e.g., using GIS tools) and Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting Services and RDL
• Experience with surveillance and laboratory data.
