Senior Public Affairs Officer (EU)

With an increasing amount of legislation that effects British consumers’ everyday lives coming from Brussels, our EU work is an essential part of our public affairs function. Next year is a year of great change with a new European Parliament and new European Commission. Never has it been more important to get the views of British consumers across to EU decision-makers.

From financial services, and food to consumer rights and energy, Which? has long worked hard to achieve positive change for British consumers. We want to do more though. We want to enhance Which?’s impact and visibility as the voice of British consumers promoting all aspects of our organisation.

Reporting to the Head of EU & International, this role will support and deliver on our EU public affairs strategy and engagement plan including at the most senior level. It will identify ways to maintain and build relationships as well as identifying future opportunities.

The post requires

strong organisational, communication and relationship building skills. Knowledge and direct experience of the EU decision-making process is also essential. The post will require travel to Brussels.
