FFI is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Grant Management and Impact Assessment Officer to implement effective management of a new significant grant fund and to ensure effective design and delivery of FFI’s system for assessment of the biodiversity impacts of FFI’s work. The successful candidate will directly oversee the management of a significant grant fund and will assist the Director, Conservation Science and Design and her team in delivering internal processes to support and improve organisational impact assessment and project-level monitoring processes. The Officer will work closely with FFI regional and thematic teams, and particularly with the Conservation Capacity and Leadership team in their efforts to facilitate the FFI project cycle and their work to strengthen partner organisations. This position is based in FFI’s headquarters in Cambridge, UK.
You will have a higher degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience in conservation or a related field, and experience of working with NGOs would be advantageous. You will have strong organisational and time management skills and a structured and methodical approach to work. With excellent communication skills you will be a self-motivated team player, but equally able to work independently. The ability to support and mentor others with diplomacy and tact will be essential to this role. Fluency in English is essential.
