Planner - Team lead
Job description:
·Coordinate and support team of planners ·Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged, vendor due dates are accurate, and purchase order pricing is up to date in BPCS ERP·Develop KPI’s to monitor and analyze vendor performance to ensure on time supply chain·Communicate to customers and vendors on escalated issues and concerns·Create, monitor, and report planner performance measures·Work cross functionally with all departments of the service center to solve purchase order, invoice and inventory discrepancies ·Plan and promote training and competence development for a team of planners·Perform other duties as assigned
Experience requirements:
·Practical experience in inventory control, purchasing experience, supply chain, or logistics ·Proven track record managing and running a planning operation·Preference of familiarity with network and mainframe production control software systems
Knowledge:
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills·Solid skill set with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel·Demonstrated ability to lead effectively and work with a wide range of people·Organized and self-motivated ·Customer focused (both internal and external) with a bias for action ·High energy level and an ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Educational requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or equivalent experience
