Service Engineer Gas and Process Division
Job description:
The aftermarket service business of the Gas & Process division in the Middle East and North Africa region is growing constantly.To capitalize on our large machine population and to meet the increasing demands of our customers we are seeking for qualified and experienced service engineers.In this role you will be responsible to provide a high quality and efficient service to all of our customers and interact with the different product companies of the Gas & Process division to perform the following tasks:- Erection and pre-commissioning of turbo compressors, expansion turbines and cryogenic pumps- Trouble shooting and effective diagnose of mechanical faults on all turbo machines and pumps- Preventive maintenance, inspection and overhauls of all turbo machines and pumps- Preparation of work and time schedules for the different service tasks- Detailed reporting and documentation of executed service jobs - Spare part recommendations to customers for regular service- Interaction with the product companies concerning technical issues and customer queries- Training of customers regarding daily operation and service of their turbo machines- Effectively promote our core objective "First in Mind—First in Choice®" towards our customers
Experience requirements:
Strong knowledge and field service experience working with turbo machinery and pumpsSolid knowledge about mechanics, hydraulics, lubrication and seal gas systemsDemonstrated experience with erection and pre-commissioningBasic knowledge with instrumentation and control systemsGood verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills
Knowledge:
Minimum 3 years proven experience with the service, maintenance and repair of turbo machines and pumpsAble to analyze mechanical problems and draw conclusions from the equipment performanceCapable to read, understand and interpret complex mechanical drawingsFamiliar with Microsoft Office products, particular with Word and ExcelCompletely fluent in English, able to communicate in Arabic would be desirable
Educational requirements:
Mechanical or mechatronics degreeRelevant technical knowledge / trade qualifications
