Business Systems Coordinator - Holidays

Job Purpose The role will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and coordination of the Etihad Holidays and Hala Abu Dhabi centralized database including: data load, inventory control, ongoing maintenance of database including ad-hoc loading. The role requires ongoing close cooperation with Etihad Holidays and Hala Abu Dhabi Product teams in order to maintain integrity of the centralized database as well as liaison with Etihad Holidays and Hala Abu Dhabi wholesale and retail teams including 1st level system support, assistance with ad-hoc loading, data load and inventory control. Responsibilities Support the business process flows for all products, services, data, rates and allotments Coordinate the product load and maintenance of over 1,000 hotels, tour products and services. Ensure system files are accurate, updated and inventory levels are maintained and maximised Coordinate with suppliers to the Holidays Product Outbound and Product Inbound teams, so that system data, inventory, rates are controlled and updated in a timely, accurate, reliable manner Coordinate & provide 1st Level System Support, such that Etihad Holidays, Etihad Sales (and Trade at a later date) users are provided with timely, reliable, accurate solutions to day-to-day user problems Requirements Postholder will have secondary school certificate with a minimum of 3 years experience in database maintenance, ideally in the wholesale travel or airline industry.   All travel reservations, ticketing and fulfillment qualifications an advantage Experience working with travel systems in the airline or travel industry with a major company an added advantage A high level of understanding of database management and maintenance, ideally in a wholesale travel environment, accurately maintaining rates and inventory and handling ad-hoc enquiries A sound level of understanding of the airline and wholesale travel market and Middle East region
