Position Summary

  • Provision of project management expertise to drive completion of value adding Safety Case Thorough Review.
  • Drive development of plan and ensure delivery of Thorough Reviews for all UK platforms.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and agree Scope of Work and success criteria for delivery of Thorough Reviews
  • Define and document Project Execution Plan, and Thorough Review Methodology Procedure
  • Proactively and systematically monitor plan delivery of project plan. Plan / progress (S-curve) development and monitoring including milestone delivery
  • Manage budget effectively, looking for opportunities for synergies and efficiency in working.
  • Works closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders including Technical Authorities, Asset Managers, Offshore teams to ensure communication and focus on delivery of plan milestones
  • Ensure communication and involvement of the workforce.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with HSSE function, including close working with Technical Safety Manager
  • Manage development of contracted third party scopes, including compliance with Contract and Procurement requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to applicable BG standards
  • Manage delivery of third party scopes, including regular progress reporting against set milestones
  • Communicate performance and progress monthly, including reporting to Monthly Progress Meeting.
  • Organise monthly review of Thorough Review progress with Asset Managers and VP Technical
  • Management of risk and opportunities, including development of risk registers.
  • Keep abreast of changes to legislative framework as a result of EU Safety Directive.

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Strong facilitator of improvement and change management

Project Management skills background, with knowledge of Technical safety/ Safety cases an advantage
 
Knowledge of process safety and major accident hazards

 Understanding of SCR and PFEER regulations
 
Understanding of key environmental hazards

Ability to influence at all levels of the organisatio
Confident and strong self-starter, able to work with minimal supervinion
