Position Summary

The Finance Rotation Summer Internship is a preview of the full-time structured, development program designed to build on the knowledge gained to date at university. The program is intended to provide real-world business experience through the execution of defined initiative(s) to enhance technical, behavioral and leadership skills providing a foundation for the Finance Rotation Program in the long-term. The internship consists of a project based role assignment with interaction across various functions within the Finance organization. 

Key Accountabilities

The internship accountabilities include: 

Execution and delivery of assigned projects with emphasis on project management, team work, business subject matter expertise, a wide array of communication across all levels, and quality of work
Creating and delivery of presentation on the internship initiative and experience 
Interaction with a variety of Finance leaders
Networking within the Finance Department and all of BG Group including the Global Energy Marketing & Shipping (GEMS) and Exploration & Production (E&P) organizations

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Specialist Knowledge/Languages:
 
A Finance Rotation Program intern should be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business discipline. Relevant work experience and/or previous summer internship will be an advantage.

As important as academic qualifications will be personal characteristics and attributes, A Finance Rotation Program intern should be highly motivated, hard-working, and eager to learn. An individual must be able to successfully manage and deliver an initiative with tenacity and vigor. Additionally, the individual must be confident and comfortable to interact and collaborate with all levels of leadership to seek guidance to ultimately perform Rotation Program intern responsibilities at a high level.
